As we live through History in the making, Many of us find it hard to handle. COVID-19 has hit the universe and brought many of us to our knees. Many of us have also suffered our own personal struggles mentally and physically. What is important is that we continue to push forward. PNCT has been on a journey of upgrades and improvement for a few years, we have reached many of the goals and milestones we set out to. The success of bringing this all to life is really due to TEAM WORK. GREAT TEAM WORK COMES FROM GREAT LEADERSHIP. We are very lucky to have been lead through all the before mentioned by great leadership and TEAMWORK. We can only go so long with empty shelves.Moving forward with a new gate system, a fleet of 110 strads, 17 additional acres of field & empty parks, exclusive rail lanes, New cranes and the capacity to fit 2 X 14K TEU ships alongside simultaneously. I am excited for the future at pnct. I would rather look toward the future with excitement then be dragged down day after day by our current situation. THE COMEBACK WILL ALWAYS BE GREATER THEN THE SETBACK! #PNCT #MOVINGFORWARD #PROUD2BPNCT

The investment in propane-fueled vehicles is part of Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT)’s ongoing efforts to improve its sustainability and reduce its carbon footprint. PNCT last year purchased and successfully tested hybrid diesel straddle carriers, and this year we have purchased 20 MAFI LPG tractors. We have a complete fleet of 45 tractors, which will be replaced within the next two years, our main source of equipment for rail operations is RTG, reach stackers and yard tractors.”there is nearly a 98% reduction in emissions. In addition, we were able to identify that the MAFI LPG tractor had significant torque to handle our rail operation. . . without any loss of power. They are 98% cleaner than diesel & environmentally friendly. 🌎 ⚓ 🛳 🌞 ♻ ( ^ Charlie Ferlisi 2023)

On Monday January 8th 2024 I had the pleasure of attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for The second Hope Village with a few colleagues Port Newark Container Terminal (PNCT) Deli Torna Gregory Kim Terence Dickenson. A 20 bed transitional housing community for the homeless in the City of Newark. After a successful first hope village the second village has now opened. “Hope Village II is considerably different than Hope Village I because it proves that we’ve learned,” Mayor Ras. J. Baraka said. “We’ve learned in that process that we did some things right, but we also did some things wrong.” WISHING HOPE VILLAGE 2 THE SAME GREAT SUCCESS OR BETTER. Also had the pleasure of seeing John Nardi at this great event.
